Mughal Empire

The Mughal Empire was an early
modern empire in South Asia.Thay
were the biggest,strongest and
most richest empires at that time
before the invasion of the British in
Introduct 1857.The empire was at the peak
at its peak during that time.Now
ion were going to learn about some of
the strongest rulers…
The Mughal empire was founded
by Zahir-ud Din Muhammad
Babur.He was born on 14th
Feburary, 1483.Babur was a
strong-willed, determined man,
Babur 1438- and if he set a goal for himself, he
would not fail to achieve it.Babur
1530 fell seriously ill and he died at the
age of 47 on 26th December 1530.
His son Humayun took over, after
his death.
• Humayun took over the empire
after his fathers death
Babur.After that he faced many
challenges and struggles.His
Humayu biggest threat was Sher shah suri,
who established the Suri empire
n in North India. In 1540 Humayun
was defeated by Sher Shah Suri
1530- but later he conquered it back by
killing Sher Shah. He was know
1556 for his interest in art, literature
and architecture.He died in 1556
after falling of some stairs.His son
Akbar took over the Empire.
• Jalaluddin Akbar was the son of
Humayun, who took over the
empire after his father death.
Humayun was known for his
Jalaluddin religious policies and liberal ideas
towards it. Akbar saw the
Akbar injustice that was done by his
predecessors on Hindus and he
1542- resolved all of them like the
abolition of taxes on Hindu. At
1605 the end of his reign, he had
conquered two-thirds of the
Indian subcontinent that
including Afghanistan too. He
died in 1605 at the age of 49. His
son Jhangir took over the empire.
• Jahangir was the son of Jalaluddin
Akbar. He was the fourth emperor
of the Mughal dynasty. Jahangir
Aurangza was fascinated by art and
architecture. Jahangir improved
ib farming by growing different crops
like cotton and sugarcane. Jahangir
1605- reduced tax for farmers.Jahangir
died in 1627.
