Research Methodology

Research Design:
The research design used in this study is
Descriptive in nature.
Nature of data:
Both primary and secondary data are used for
the research.
Primary data:
The information required for this research was
collected from the respondents, using a
Structured Questionnaire. The Questionnaire
contains 5point scale questions and demographic
questions.
Method of Data Collection
 The primary data was collected by direct
survey method using a questionnaire.
 Sampling Design:
 Population Size:
 The total population size is Unknown.
 Sampling time:
 The sampling period starts from 04.12.2024 to
10.01.2025.
 Sampling Method:
 The sampling method used in this research is
Convenience Sampling Method.
Tools used for analysis

Various tools/methods are used for the purpose


of analysing the responses towards various
factors. The tools used for analysis are
 Percentage Analysis
 Chi square
 Cross tab
 Pie chart & bar chart
Limitations of study
This study has the following limitations:
Geographical limitation: The study is limited to Chennai,
Tamil Nadu, India, and the findings may not be
generalizable to other cities or regions.
 Sample size limitation: The sample size of retailers may
not be representative of the entire population of
retailers in Chennai.
 Data collection method: The study relies on self-
reported data from retailers, which may be subject to
biases and limitations.
 Limited scope of variables: The study focuses on a
specific set of variables influencing retailer satisfaction
and sales opportunities, and may not capture other
important factors.
