Step 1. Join the Gradescope
Course
• You can enjoy using a Gradescope licensed by CUHK for
lab submission
• Check your CWEM (@link) email box for an invitation,
entitled "Welcome to Gradescope for
2024R1-ENGG1110ABCD", possibly check also
junk/ spam folder
• Read the instructions and CLICK the set your password
set link
• Login with a new password! DO NOT use CUHK OnePass!!

• This is where the submission box of our lab exercises are hosted

Lab Exercise Rules
• Two sets of exercises each week – Pre-Lab Exercises
and Lab Exercises
• Pre-Lab Exercises are UNGRADED and very short
and easy for you to warmup, and you should finish
before the Wed Lab
• No Pre-Lab in Week 1
• Lab Exercises are usually due on Fri 11:59 pm
• Obviously, please always finish Pre-Lab first
Tip: No AI tools
• Do not reply on AI tools, because…
• it only help solving small problems as a
beginner,
• you want to succeed in the exam, and
• you want to be qualified to use AI tools to
solve much larger problems in the future
Late Submission
• Late submissions within 72 hours will result in a
penalty of 50%, submissions after 72 hours are not
accepted
• Lab Exercises amount to 25% of total score, and a
portion of exam questions will be based on these
Lab Exercises.
• Please remember we have both official Lab hours
and Consultation Hours for you to get help from
tutors!
Your Task Today
• Follow instructions we have covered just now and
join our course on Gradescope if you haven't
already
• Your instructor may check your sign-ups; If you have
joined with a non-CUHK email, you will be asked to
correct the mistake immediately
• Using a proper Gradescope account, attempt our
first set of Lab Exercises and submit before
deadline.
