Introduction
Hello and thank you for joining Be-Rozgar, a Job Board Application project!
Our slogan is Berozgar To Be-Rozgar. This project seeks to develop a simple
platform that will connect job seekers and employers. Developed using
HTML and CSS, the emphasis of this project is on providing a user-friendly
interface.

Objectives of the project


• Easy to use Design: To give a simple layout which will enable users,
search for jobs and post jobs easily.

• Laying out the elements in application in a responsive manner: To make


sure that the application is accessible from all types of devices ranging
from a desktop computer to a handheld mobile phone.

• Attraction: To apply modern aesthetics in the layout of the application so


that it is more appealing.
Problem Statement
One of the primary challenges for job seekers in the modern world is the myriad
of job opportunities available and the corresponding difficulty that employers face
in recruiting qualified personnel. Conventional job seeking sites have their fair
share of drawbacks such as being boring, clumsy, and not appealing to the users.

Key Issues:
• Job Search: Most job seekers have difficulties in searching for job vacancies
due to poor search capability and too much information.

• User Interface: Most current sites do not have an appealing interface and
hence make job application a nightmare.

• Mobility: Job boards are not mobile compatible to all android or apple
devices and as such, it excludes many users who primarily operate through a
smartphone or a tablet.

• Limited Attraction: Job seekers reluctant to apply due to unfriendly


application processes and poor job adverts that limit their scope.
Technical Details
1. Used Technologies, Capabilities and Characteristics of Interaction

HTML: The language is employed to provide structure to the elements contained in


the application along with the forms, job advertisement and various elements needed
for navigation.

CSS: The language is used in the application to arrange and present the elements in a
good and responsive manner.

2. Project Structure

index.html: The primary page navigated to at the beginning by users.

styles.css: The principal file utilised for style integration of the application.

assets/: this is a folder where, pictures, icons and any other items that are used in the
application are kept.
Key Features
1. User-Friendly Interface
• Intuitive Navigation: The menu gives a clear and simple structure so that the user can easily find the
various parts of the application as per his/her requirement.

2. Job Listings
• Dynamic Job Display: The job titles, company names, locations, and brief descriptions are very
smartly placed in a neat and rhythmic way which gives the layout an attractive look.
• Categorisation: Jobs will also, maybe, be grouped according to their nature (full-time, part-time,
remote) and are grouped as into industries.

3. Search Functionality
• Filter Options: Jobs are conducted by users, such as keyword searching, location, or job type that
help in a quick retrieval of the listings most relevant to the searches will be done by the users.

4. User Registration and Profiles


• Account Creation: Candidates can use a simple interface to join or employers can also join and
make profiles.
• Profile Management: Jobs, resumes, and set of job preferences can be easily updated by the users.

5. Responsive Design
• Mobile Compatibility: The application shapes itself naturally along any device and does not give
any frustrating experiencing to the users, in fact, it ensures great services for both desktop
subscribers as well as mobile ones.
Project Highlights

1. Contemporary and Elegant Appearance

• Employs modern design concepts which, make it look good and professional to the
users.

2. Adaptable Design

• Equipped with a responsive design that works perfectly across all devices, with
emphasis on desktops, tablets, and smartphones where necessary.

3. Easy to Use

• Navigation is simple, with relevant sections like job postings, profile pages, and the
search option easy to locate.

4. Improved Functions – Job Search

• A powerful searching tool which enables users to enhance their job searching by
providing filters for job description, location, and job category among other details.
PROFILE PAGE
Conclusion
The Job Board Application project is a well-grounded solution to the problems experienced by
job applicants and recruiters alike in the current job market. Using HTML and CSS, we designed
the app with the main focus on ease of use, clear structure and hierarchy, flexible and responsive
layout, and great graphics.

Key Takeaways
• Improved User Interaction: The app design user-friendly interface with easy navigation and
powerful searching options enhances the job seeking area. It becomes easier for the users to
search for the interested jobs and for the employers to procure their desired applicants.

• Affordability and Accessibility: This project is also very much centred on accessibility
features ensuring that all users irrespective of any ability can navigate the platform without
difficulty.

• Foundation For Future Growth: Future augmentation such as the habitual changes in the
designs of the content, backend design of page extension and more is thought about so as the
project is adaptable.

In conclusion, this project demonstrates abilities in front end development as well as the need for
good design in making usable applications over the web. There are hopes for a transition that will
broaden the scope of the system and close the existing space between the employers and the job
seekers.
