I would also like to acknowledge the contributions of various sources and academic
resources that provided real-life examples, helping me understand and convey the
importance of calculus in fields such as physics, medicine, engineering, and
technology.
Finally, I am grateful to my classmates and friends for their support and
encouragement throughout the preparation of this presentation. Thank you all for your
guidance, inspiration, and motivation.
Calculus
Calculus is a branch of mathematics that studies how things
change.
Application
integration
Diffrentiation
Diffrentiation
Differentiation is a mathematical process used to find the rate at which a
function is changing at any given point. Differentiation helps us understand
how things change and how fast they are changing.
Graphically, differentiation represents the slope of a function at any given
point on its curve.
Definition of the Derivative
The derivative of a function 𝑓(𝑥) at a point x is defined as:
y
𝑓 (𝑥 )
(
𝑓 ( 𝑥+ h ) − 𝑓 ( 𝜒 )
)
𝐵
′
𝑓 ( 𝜒 )=lim
𝑓 (𝑥 + h)
𝑓 (𝑥 )
𝐴 h →0 h
𝑥 𝑥+ h
x
This formula represents the limit of the average rate of change of the function as the interval ℎ
approaches zero.

Integration
Integration is a mathematical process that is used to find the area under a
curve. It is the reverse process of differentiation, which is used to find the
slope of a curve.
There are two main types of calculus integration: DEFINITE INTEGRALS and INDEFINITE
INTEGRALS.
