designed to be used at a fixed location, usually on a desk or table. It provides the option to upgrade it and add additional components. It has many peripheral devices connected to it. Some desktops computers are all-in-one, means monitor is combined with the CPU. These are ideal for tasks that require high processing power, such as video editing, graphic design, and gaming. Laptops:
A laptop is a portable personal computer
which is mobile and small enough to carry around with you. Laptops include a keyboard, a screen, a track pad and rechargeable battery. which is mobile and small enough to carry around with you. Some laptops are called ‘desktop replacement’. They are bigger with high quality screen and have higher performance level. Mobile Phones:
A mobile phone, also known as a cell
phone, is a portable telephone that can also perform various computing functions. They use SIM card to connect to a mobile phone network. Mobile phones could be used for communication, web browsing, social networking, and multimedia consumption. Tablets:
A tablet computer is a mobile, quite thin
device, having a flat surface. The device can be easily held in your hand. It contains a touch screen which is operated using your fingers in various ways such as tapping, double tapping, swiping and pinching. Some tablets have SIM card slot to allow Internet connectivity using the mobile phone network. Answer the following questions:
