Introduction
The College Placement System is a software application
developed using Python with Tkinter and SQLite3, designed to
streamline and manage the campus placement process
efficiently. The system facilitates interactions between students,
companies, and placement coordinators through various
dedicated modules. It aims to automate and simplify the process
of job searching, applying for jobs, and managing placement-
related data.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
HARDWARE :
2.5 GHz Dual Processor That Are Each 3GHz Each Or Faster
Minimum 2GB Ram
Minimum 100 GB Hard Disk Drive (HDD)

SOFTWARE :
Windows 7 Or Above
Visual Studio Code or Pycharm

The College Placement System is entirely developed using Python
Programing language.

Datetime

Modules Description.

▪ Tkinter : For creating the Graphical User Interface (GUI) by which the user
can interact with the Software.
▪ Tkcalander : For making the user select the date from Calander as required.
▪ Datetime : For showing the real time date and time to the user in the software.
▪ PIL : For displaying the background images in the software.
▪ Sqlite3 :For implementing the concept of Database in software.
Features of College Placement System.

▪ Apply for Jobs: In this application students can simply choose there skilled field and can
apply for job according to there skills.
▪ Profile Management: Students can maintain and update their profiles with personal,
academic, and professional details.
▪ View Company Details: Students can view detailed information about companies,
including job descriptions and requirements.
▪ Schedule Interviews: Companies can communicate with selected students and schedule
interviews through the system.
▪ Simplification in Placements: This system helps to simplify the placement work of the
Company , College as well as Students.

There are mainly three modules in our project:

▪ Student Module
▪ College Module
▪ Company Module
1) Login Module : Controls All the Login and Registration Process.
2) Student Module : This module controls all the student activities such as profile management ,
uploading Resumes etc.
3) College Module: This module helps college to monitor the students academic records and
maintain the placement data.
4) Company Module : This module helps the company in making collaborations with the college
and also helps to simplify there working by managing the students
data.
The College Placement System serves as an
efficient, automated solution that streamlines the
entire placement process for students, companies,
and educational institutions. By integrating various

complexities of campus recruitment while ensuring
smooth communication and data management.

In conclusion, the College Placement System not


only optimizes the recruitment process but also
facilitates stronger collaboration between students
and companies, ultimately increasing the efficiency
and success of campus placements.
