Input Devices
An device is any piece of equipment that is used to input data into the
computer.
Input devices are keyboard and mouse and an integrated video camera.
Other input devices are microphone, joystick, scanner, barcode reader.

A mouse is an input device which is used to select any icon or thing on the
desktop.
Mouse is typically contain 2-3 button (left, right and middle) and a scrolling
wheel and a sensor to tracks.
There are 5 types of mouse
1- Wired mouse
2-Wireless mouse
3-Optical mouse
4-Laser mouse
5-Tracked mouse
Scanner
A barcode reader, also known as barcode scanner, is a device that reads and
decodes barcode, converting them into digital data.
Barcode reader works in the following way;
reader scans the barcode. Then light reflect off the barcode. Sensor detects
reflected light. Reader recode barcode data and sent to computer.

Track Ball
A trackball is an input device that consists of a large ball housed in a socket, allowing users
to control the cursor by rotating the ball with their fingers or palm.
Advantages:
