• We all live busy lives, so making time for ourselves can
be challenging. But it's important to prioritize self-care to
reduce stress, improve our physical and mental health,
and live our best lives.
• 1. Have enough sleep.
Medically, it is advisable to sleep
for at least 8 hours in a day. This
helps an individual to be
productive during the day. It also
helps the brain to function well.
• 2. Visit the gym. The benefits of
going to the gym cannot be
overemphasized. Some of which
includes: improving overall
health; increasing strength and
flexibility; reducing stress,
improving sleep quality;
boosting self-confidence:
preventing chronic disease such
as obesity, diabetes and heart
diseases.
3. Read self-development books. As the saying goes “readers are
leaders. According George R.R. Martin’s, A Dance with Dragons “a
reader lives a thousand lives before he dies, ... The man who never
reads lives only one”.
4. Eat well. This has nothing to do with the quantity of the food but the
quality. This simply means eating a balance diet.
5. Surround yourself with people
who love you for you. It is better
to stay alone than surround
yourself with people who
constantly make you feel less of
yourself.
