Bayes' theorem
● Bayes' theorem is a fundamental concept in probability theory and
statistics, particularly in Bayesian inference. It provides a way to
update our beliefs about the probability of an event in light of new
evidence.
● Where:
1. “Prior Probability” ($P(H)$): This is the initial degree of belief in a hypothesis, before
considering the new evidence.
3. “Evidence” ($P(E)$): The probability of the evidence under all possible hypotheses.
