It is the process of Interactively searching for and retrieving
requested information via a computer from database that are
online. It also refers to the process of using electronic
resources to acquire, retrieve, and analyze information using
technology.

via the World Wide Web (WWW). A user enters keywords or
key phrases into a search engine and receives a list of web
content results in the form of websites, images, videos, or
other online data. The list of content returned via a search
engine to a user is known as a seach enigine result page
(SERP) (Search Engine 2019).

• It is the best search engine worldwide. What made
Google the most trusted and popular engine
because of its fast and reliable search results. It uses
sophisticated algorithms to present the most
accurate results. According to recent statistics,
Google is the most popular search engine with a
stunning 87.35% market share.
 Bing
• Bing is the best alternative search engine to Google. Bing
was Microsoft’s way of competing with Google. But despite
their efforts they didnt convince enough people that their
broswer is more reliable than Google. As of recent
statistics Bing’s total market share is only a mere 3.93%.
 Yahoo
• Yahoo is the third most popular browser as of 2024
with a total market share of 2%. Yahoo was once the
most popular search engine in the early years of the
internet back when google was still a project.

dataset. It goes beyond simple search aggregate
