Devices?
Storage devices are sets of hardware which store programs, data and
information for later use.

This is a magnetic disk found in desktop and laptop computers and
serves to store all of your digital content

E.g Documents, photos, music, and movies.


Magnetic Tapes
A system that uses cartridges for digital recording to store
digital information on magnetic storage.

This is sequential access storage device (SASSD) which allows


data archiving, collection and back up of large amounts of data.
Flash drive
A flash drive is a small and portable storage device that holds large
amount of data. They store, transfer, back up and transport data.

A small, flat, data storage card used to store digital information

These cards can be found in cameras, phones, computers etc.

This is a direct entry storage device which uses lasers to write, store and
