Introduction – CargoWise
One software

 CargoWise One is a deeply-integrated global software solution that enables


customers to execute highly complex logistics transactions and manage their
operations on one database across multiple users, functions, countries,
languages and currencies.

 This powerhouse solution allows customers to better address the complexities


of the logistics industry while dramatically increasing productivity, reducing
costs and mitigating risks via a global integrated software platform.

 CargoWise One customers are the ‘people who move the world’, and operate in
areas across the entire logistics supply chain including freight forwarding,
customs clearance, warehousing, shipping, tracking, land transport, e-
commerce, and cross border compliance..

CargoWise in EMO Trans

 CargoWise is not new to all EMO Trans offices. Australia & New Zealand have
used CargoWise since 2005, Papua New Guinea since 2016, Singapore since 2016
on separate systems. As a part of worldwide implementation, CargoWise was
introduced globally on a shared platform in 2021 with the Netherlands followed
by Singapore and Malaysia officially going live on Dec 1,2022 followed by Japan
and Hong Kong in Jan 1, 2023.

 Currently there are 23 EMO Trans countries live on CargoWise with Canada
joining November 2024 and Germany in 2025.

 EMO Trans has growing support teams available globally as well as a Data
Management team to assist with ensuring data integrity across the shared
platform.

 CargoWise has full integration capabilities and is currently linked to:

o Create and manage bookings with major carriers


o live sailing schedules that automatically update shipment dates

 CargoWise also offers a Master Data Migration Tool that can help users upload
master and reference data into CargoWise

o Work as a team with global colleagues!

o Many new users to Cargowise and may need assistance or


may be a reason they have entered data a certain way.

o Follow the procedures to complete the tasks and ensure


not to make any changes to the Master Data.

o Changes to the system like creating the Vessels, Airlines, or any other reference
details may lead to create confusions among other branch/Country user.

o Changing or updating the details which are irrelevant may cause the issues
