RTU(Remote Terminal Unit)

 RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) :Interface with Local station level TVS
(Honeywell) & ECS (Honeywell CS-HK, Rockwell MN-SK) PLCs. It performs
read/write operations and processes data according to user program stored in
the memory. It also acts as data accumulator which exchange data between
CTU OCC and Station level TVS & ECS PLCs.The following hardware is located
in each RTU at Station.
• 1756-A-7 : Control logix 7 Slot chassis
• 1756-PA75 : Power Supply for the Chassis
• 1756 L-61: Control logix Platform
• 1756-ENBT: Ethernet Bridge Module
• 5201-MNET-DFNT: The ProLinx family EtherNet/IP to Modbus TCP/IP communications module
(5201-MNET-DFNT) creates a powerful connection between Modbus TCP/IP and EtherNet/IP
networks. The module is a stand-alone DIN-rail mounted protocol gateway that provides one
Ethernet port. The MNET-DFNT modules are the ideal solution for joining EtherNet/IP and
Modbus TCP/IP networks.
MNET: For Modbus TCP\IP for Modbus devices Such as Honeywell Safety Manger & Master
Logix.

ATS Interface System Architecture

 ATS(Automatic Train Supervision ): The communication between ATS system and TVM system
is unidirectional, which is implemented as a non-vital function. The ATS system sends these
following information to the TVM system.
• The restricted ventilation section in the tunnel.
• Several trains in the ventilation section alarm.
• Inter-station train stopped in the tunnel alarms.
