Introduction & Problem Statement

INTRODUCTION –

• What is Personal Finance Tracker?


A web application designed to help individuals manage their income, expenses,
savings, and investments efficiently.
• Objective: To simplify financial planning and promote better money
management habits.
PROBLEM STATEMENT -

• Lack of user-friendly tools for comprehensive financial tracking.


• Many individuals struggle with managing monthly expenses and savings
effectively.
• Over-reliance on manual tracking methods prone to errors and inconsistencies.

Working
Frontend (React.js) -
• The user interface is built with React.js, ensuring a responsive and dynamic experience.

navigation across pages.

Backend (Node.js with Express.js):


• Serves as the application’s server-side logic.
• Handles user authentication, data validation, and API routing.
• Implements secure endpoints for CRUD operations on financial data.

Database (MongoDB):
• Stores user information, financial transactions, and savings goals in a NoSQL structure.
