 Application
 In order to reduce downtimes, the HMI panel sends messages or other configured
text information as an e-mail to the support personnel

 General procedure
 The connection data for an SMTP server and a sender name are stored in the
HMI panel (Control Panel or configuration)
 A receiver mail address can be assigned to a message class in the configuration,
or
system function "SendEmail" can be configured as a function for any events
((e.g. receipt of a specific message)

 Requirements
 Ethernet interface
 HMI panel must be able to access an SMTP server over the Ethernet
 One enabling license per HMI panel

 In order to reduce downtimes, the support personnel can call diagnostics
information directly from the HMI panel without having to be on site
 Access security through scanning of passwords set in the Control Panel of the
HMI panel

 General procedure
 HTML pages are downloaded to the HMI panel together with the configuration
 These HTML pages can be downloaded and viewed using a Web browser (e.g.
Internet Explorer)

 Requirements
 Ethernet interface
 HMI panel must be accessible to support personnel over Ethernet
LAN - must be in same network
Internet - Internet gateway !!! Observe network security !!!
 One enabling license per HMI panel

 The service PC is the remote keyboard and screen of the HMI panel
 Only one station has operator privileges at any one moment
(operation on the HMI panel has priority)
