METHODOLOGY In this paper, we propose a wireless home automation system for remotely controlling household
appliances. The system utilizes a Bluetooth remote with push buttons for user commands and a relay
module for appliance control. Voice responses indicating appliance status are generated through a
speaker using recorded voices stored on a micro-SD card. We implement and validate the system's
functionality and conduct a statistical analysis comparing user perceptions of our system against
traditional methods.
TITLE Bluetooth Based Home Automation System Using Android and Arduino
METHODOLOGY
This paper introduces a Bluetooth Home Automation System using Android and Arduino, allowing remote
control of various household functions via smartphone. With components including Arduino
microcontroller, Bluetooth module, and Android app, users can manage lighting, garage doors, water
pumps, and smoke detection. While control is limited to within the home, it enhances convenience and
safety, especially for elderly and disabled individuals. Overall, the system enhances quality of life and
comfort for users.
CONS L imited Range: Control confined within the home due to Bluetooth's range.
Smartphone Dependency: Relies on smartphone availability for control.
Technical Setup: Requires technical expertise for setup.
Security Vulnerabilities: Bluetooth may have security risks.
Compatibility Issues: May face compatibility challenges with different smartphones.

METHODOLOGY
This paper aims to automate home devices, shifting control from traditional switches to smartphone
interfaces. By integrating Arduino with Bluetooth technology, users can control devices directly from their
smartphones. A user-friendly graphical interface simplifies device control, facilitated by relays for on/off
commands.
METHODOLOGY T his article outlines a Bluetooth-enabled home automation system using Arduino and an Android app with
voice prompts. It aims for user-friendly appliance control, featuring an Arduino microcontroller, HC-06
Bluetooth module, and MIT App Inventor 2. Control is via the Android app and voice commands with Google
Assistant integration, with timed switching capabilities up to 12 hours for added convenience.
