Christianity Beliefs

Christians are monotheistic, they

believe there's only one God, and he
created the heavens and the earth.
This divine Godhead consists of three
parts: the father (God himself), the
son (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit.
Holy Trinity Christianity
The Holy Trinity is the belief that God
the Father, Jesus the Son, and the
Holy Spirit are one in the same. Each
of them has a role and exist as three
entities, but they ultimately comprise
one main entity.
Sacred scriptures of
christianity
The Bible
The sacred text of Christianity is the Bible,
composed of the Old and New Testaments.
The Old Testament contains parts of the
Jewish Torah, while the New Testament
describes the life of Jesus and the early
church. Many Christian denominations have
commentaries on the Bible and some have
additional sacred texts.
Old testament of christianity
The Old Testament is the first section of the
Bible, covering the creation of Earth
through Noah and the flood, Moses and
more, finishing with the Jews being
expelled to Babylon. The Bible's Old
Testament is very similar to the Hebrew
Bible, which has origins in the ancient
religion of Judaism.
New testament of christianity

Christians see in the New Testament the

fulfillment of the promise of the Old
Testament. It relates and interprets the
new covenant, represented in the life and
death of Jesus, between God and the
followers of Christ, the promised Messiah.
Like the Old Testament, it contains a
variety of kinds of writing.
Beliefs of Christianity
Christians believe that Jesus died for
humanity, that God raised him from the
dead, and that Jesus will come again at the
end of time. In addition, Christians believe
in the Trinity, or the three parts of God: God
the Father or Creator, God the Son (Jesus) or
Redeemer, and God the Holy Spirit or
Sanctifier.
