Online Hotel Reservation System
 Online Hotel Reservation
System will provide service to
online customers, employee
and an administrator.
 Online customers can make
searches, reservations and
cancel an existing reservation
on the hotel reservation’s
website.
 Administrator can Add/Update
the hotel and room
information.
Problem Statement
Hotels have been around for a very long time, using
various methods of keeping records. Historically,
hotels have kept paper records in filing cabinets.
Keeping track of large customer bases and all their
attendant details would require an inordinate space for
file cabinets, not to mention the time employees would
spend going back and forth to file cabinets looking up
each client’s information. As a result hotel workers had
to face problems such as:
Difficult to handle data accurately and security
because of the data lost, viewing by unauthorized
people, can’t collect the data at the time, storage
problems, and many more.
Objectives
 Improving customer experience
By making it easy to navigate, confirm
bookings quickly, and offering flexible booking
options, hotels can provide a hassle-free
reservation experience.
 Increasing bookings and revenue
Hotels can capture bookings at any time of the
day from any time zone by offering round-the-
clock online booking capabilities.

Benefits Of Using Java
 Efficiency- Java’s automatic
memory allocation
and garbage collection can make
the system less complicated than
C++.
 Improved Performance- Java can
replace manual processes with a
fully automated system that
improves the booking process.
 Security- Java can be configured to
limit access to the system, with only
service desk personal having the
ability to make changes.
Conclusion
 The Online Hotel Reservation System was
developed to replace the manual process of
booking for a hotel room or any other facility of
the hotel.
 The old system does not serve the customer in a
better way; rather it makes customer data
vulnerable. On the other hand , the new system
keeps proper records of customers for emergency
and security purposes.
 We have learnt how to make a system User
Friendly.
