your profile on social media or your activities on the internet.
POSITIVE IMPACT OF DIGITAL WORLD-The digital world has truly
paved the way for many of us, making tasks easier and more
accessible.

THE DISINHIBITED SELF- Online disinhibition refers to the
phenomenon where people behave differently and may show
more extreme behaviors when interacting online compared to in
person interactions.
ANONYMITY-The condition of being unknown or undeniable
online, allowing people to express themselves more freely
without fear of immediate consequences.
INVISIBILTY- The lack of physical presence in online interactions,
makes individuals feel less visible and less accountable for
actions.

COVENIENCE- Improve efficiency in daily tasks through online services.

CYBERSPACE-The virtual realm within the digital world where online interactions
and activities take place.

GLOBAL CONNECTIVITY- Enhanced connections and cultural exchange across

MODULE 19- HOW LEARNING HAPPENS
IN HUMAN BRAIN
Learning happens through the creation of new and more efficient
connections between different areas of the brain.
NEUTRONS- Special cells in the brain that communicate with each
other through electrical and chemical signals.
ACTION POTENTIAL-An electrical signal that travels within a neuron to
send message.
SYNAPSES- Tiny gaps between neurons where chemical signals are
transmitted.
COGNITIVE STRATEGIES- Different ways of learning and processing
information in the brain. These strategies help us understand and
remember things better.

RESPONSES
Stress as any factor that makes it hard for a person to adapt and maintain balance with their environment.

strategies to derive and manage the meaning of the situation.
4.Social coping (support seeking)- in which an individual reduces
stress by seeking emotional or instrumental support from their
community.
MODULE 21: LEARNING AND
CARING SELF: GOAL SETTINGS
1.Goal setting: a powerful tool that helps induvial take control of their lives.
2.Self efficacy: belief in one’s ability to accomplish task and effectively.
3.Fixed mindset: believing that abilities and intelligence are static and cannot
be engaged.
4.Growth mindset : believing that abilities can developed through effort,
perseverance and learning.
5.Goal- setting theory: a motivational theory that emphasizes the importance
of setting specific, challenging goals to enhance performance and motivation.
6.Smart goals: goals that are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and
time bound.
