Theory :-
In DC networks, "z parameters" represent impedance values that characterize the
relationship between voltage and current in a two-port circuit, with specific elements
denoting input and output impedances under open- and short-circuit conditions.

In DC networks, Y parameters denote the admittance matrix of a two-port circuit,

expressing the relationships between currents and voltages with elements representing
admittance under distinct open- and short-circuit scenarios for each port.

In DC networks, H parameters represent the hybrid relationships between voltage

and current in a two-port circuit, with elements describing voltage-to-current ratios
under various open- and short-circuit conditions.
In z parameter of two port input and output voltage V1 &V2 can be expressed
in

terms o input and output current I1&I2 out of four variable (V1 ,V2,I1 &I2)

where V1 and V2 are depended variable as

I1&I2 are independent variable

V1 = Z11 *I1 + Z12*I2

V2 =Z21 *I1 + Z22*I2

here Z11 and Z22 are output driving point impedance while z12 & z21 are the
reverse & foreword transfer impedance
1 connect the circuit as shown in figure switch on the
experimental board .
2. open the output terminal & supply 5v to input
terminal measures output voltage and input
current .

3. secondary open input terminal & supply 5 to output

terminal measures input voltage and output current using
multimeter

4. calculate the value of z parameter using formulas and

eqn
Formula used
Computation of Z parameter

|Z| = Z11 Z22 – Z11 Z21 where Z11 = V1/I1 & Z21 = V2/I2

Computation of Y parameter

Y11 = Z22 / |Z| ; Y22 = Z11 / |Z| Y12 = - Z12 / |Z| ; Y21 = -Z21 / |Z|

Computation of H parameter

H11 =|Z| / Z22 ; H22 = 1/ Z22 H12 = Z12 / Z22 ; H21 = -Z21 / Z22
