WHAT IS COMPUTER ?
• An electronic machine, operation under the
control of instruction stored in its own memory,
which can accept data (input), manipulate data
accprding to specified rules (process), produce
results and store the results (output) for future
use.
THE COMPONENT OF COMPUTER
• Input Device
• Output Device
INPUT
• Input device allows user to enter data and
commands into the memory of a computer. Take
human readable data, convert to a form that
computer can process.

• Examples:
Keyboard, mouse and scanner
OUTPUT
• Output device is used to convey the information
generated by a computer to a user. It converts
machine-readable information into people-
readable form.

• Examples:
Monitor, printer and speaker
