BLUE

BRAIN

POINTS TO DISCUSS
• WHAT IS BLUE BRAIN?
• HOW IT IS POSSIBLE?
• NEED OF BLUE BRAIN
• FUNCTIONS OF BLUE
BRAIN
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN
BLUE BRAIN &
NATURAL BRAIN.
• BENEFITS
• DISADVANTAGES
INTRODUCTION
• Human brain, the most
valuable creation of God.

• The man is called intelligent

because of the Brain, but we
loss the knowledge of a brain
when the body is destroyed
after the death .

• " BLUE BRAIN" - The name of

the world's first virtual brain.
That means a machine that can
function as human brain
How It Is Possible?
• IBM created the Blue Gene
supercomputer to serve as
an interface between a
human brain and a
computer using small
robots or nanorobots, also
called nanobots.
• Nanobots as they are
small enough to travel the
human circulatory system.
• By moving into the spine
and brain the robots will
be able to monitor the
activities of the central
nervous system.
NEED FOR BLUE BRAIN
Preserving knowledge
The Blue Brain Project could
allow people to store their
memories and knowledge in
a computer, preserving it for
many years after death.

Curing psychological
problems
The project's research could
help cure psychological
problems.

Advancements in
medicine and AI
Understanding the
human mind
The project could help us
understand the complexities of
the human mind.

Building more precise

models
The project uses a cycle of
building, testing, and rebuilding
models to create more precise
copies of the brain.
FUNCTIONS OF
NATURAL BRAIN
• Sensory Input :- Receiving input
such as sound ,image, etc. through
sensory cell .

• Interpretation:- Interpretation of
the received input by the brain by
defining states of neurons in the
brain.

• Motor Output:- Receiving of electric

responses from the brain to perform
any action .
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NATURAL
&
BLUE
NATURAL BRAIN BRAIN
BLUE BRAIN
INPUT
By neurons, by sensory. Through the silicon chip or artificial

neuroelectric impulses.
INTERPRETATION
By different states of the neurons By a set of bits in the set of register.
in the brain.
OUTPUT
Through the natural neurons. Through the silicon chip.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NATURAL
&
NATURAL BRAIN BLUE BRAIN
BLUE BRAIN

PROCESSING
Through arithmetic and logical calculations. Through arithmetic and
logical calculations and
artificial intelligence.
MEMORY

Through permanent states of neurons. Through Secondary memory.

BENEFITS OF BLUE BRAIN
• It acts as a supercomputer and
development in processing, speed
and memory could simulate the
human brain.

• The blue brain can remember the

things with less effort.

• The intelligence of the person can be

used even after the death of a body.

• The blue brain can make own

decisions and permits the deaf to hear
through direct nerve stimulation.

• Helps in gathering and testing 100

years of data.
DISADVANTAGES OF BLUE
• The human becomes
dependent on BRAIN
machines.

• Others may use

technical knowledge
against us.

• Computer viruses will

pose an increasingly
critical threat.

• Possibilities of human
cloning
