    Objectives: To apply the
    principles and trends
    discussed by designing a
    sample curriculum outline.
    ACTIVITY OUTLINE (Sample)

    Step 1: Topic Selection


    You will select a HELE topic (e.g., nutrition,
    entrepreneurship, sustainable living) or any
    topic you choose.
    Step 2: Define Learning Outcomes
    You will outline specific learning outcomes for
    your topic, ensuring they are measurable and
    aligned with DepEd standards.
    Step 3: Outline Key Content Areas
    Define the major units or lessons within the
    curriculum, focusing on how these areas connect
    to both local and global trends.
    Step 4: Design Assessment Strategies

    Develop assessments that measure students'


    understanding and skills related to the curriculum
    topic. Include both formative and summative
    assessment methods.
    Step 5: Present and Peer Review
    Individuals will present their curriculum outlines
    to the class for feedback. Peer review will focus
    on alignment with principles of curriculum design
    and integration of trends.
    Expected Output:

    Each of you will submit a 1-2 page curriculum


    outline that includes objectives, key content,
    assessment strategies, and considerations for
    inclusivity and adaptability.
