Natural Numbers

Natural numbers are all positive integers


from 1 to infinity.
Natural numbers do not include 0 or

Number
Prime numbers are numbers greater than 1
that only have two factors, 1 and the number
itself.

A prime number is only divisible by 1 and


itself.

numbers because they are divisible by

Whole numbers is a collection of all the basic

We cannot express any irrational number in


the form of a ratio, such as p/q, where p and

Real numbers include rational numbers like
positive and negative integers, fractions, and
irrational numbers.
In other words, any number that we can
think of, except complex numbers, is a real
number.
R = 3, 0, 1.5, 3/2, √5, and so on are real

Complex Number
A complex number is the sum of a real number
and an imaginary number.

A complex number is of the form a + ib and


is usually represented by z.
