• Computer software, or just software, is a collection of
computer programs and related data that provides the
instructions for telling a computer what to do and how to
do it.
• Or
• Any set of instructions that guides the hardware and tells
it how to accomplish each task.
Software:
 A set of Instructions given to the computer to solve
a problem is called a software.
 Software is also known as program.
 Different software's are used to solve different
problems.
 A computer works according to the instructions
written in software.
