Review and related

literature
International

According to Mustafaraj et al. (2017),

researchers were the ones discovering and
documenting the misuse and abuse of socio-
technical platforms by the hands of dubious
actors with dubious agendas.
Local

According to Buchanan and Benson (2019), their research

provides ecologically valid support for previous work on
how people determine credibility, while being specific to
the mediums of Facebook and Twitter. In this section, they
tie their findings into a broader discussion of how people
assess the credibility of (mis)information on social media,
and they highlight avenues.

data analysis and interpretation that leads to a significant conclusion.
Thematic analysis began with transcribing and organizing the interview data.
