EVOLUTION OF LIFE

THE BEGINNING

 Life on Earth began 3.5 Billion years ago.

 First Living thing on Earth was Unicellular

cell.

 The first multicellular organisms evolved,

& after that Earth's biodiversity greatly
increased.
BIRTH OF PROTO-LIFE
 The first life emerged underground,
in the cave of Geyser.

 The environment below Earth's

surface was reductive and oxidizing
above surface .

 Proto-RNA combined with enzyme

and evolved into Ribozyme.
THE INITIAL STAGE OF EVOLUTION
 Destruction of Primordial Continent and
submerging into deep mantle.

 The first proto-life didn't survived due to

insufficient energy.

 The second stage of proto-life came into

existence.

 Beginning of Prokaryotic Organisms.

THE SECOND STAGE OF EVOLUTION
ü The first photosynthetic organisms
didn't produce oxygen.

ü The mantle plumes ascended towards

outer mantle which created landmass.

ü The decrease in the Iron changed the color

of ocean to blue.

ü Life began to change the surface

environment of Earth.
THE THIRD STAGE OF EVOLUTION
 The super nova explosions created
Cosmic Rays.

 The Cosmic Rays generated cloud

condensation nuclei.

 The Earth went under Global glaciation

event.

 The formation of Eukaryotes.

THE DAWN OF CAMBRIAN EXPLOSION
 Super Continent 'NUNA' came into
existence.

 As the land mass increased, the oxygen

levels also increased.

 Cosmic rays: the cause genetic

mutation.

 The sea levels decreased due to 'Earth

Leaking' effect.
THE CAMBRIAN EXPLOSION
 Extreme climate conditions put the life on
new path of Evolution.

 Multicellular life came forth; greatest leap

for evolution.

 Radiation plays an important role in

evolution of life.

 Stem and Crown Evolution began.

THE PALEOZOIC ERA
 Increasing Oxygen level formed an ozone
layer.

 Fish were the first vertebrate animals with

backbones.

 The tree of life evolved.

 Cosmic rays bombarded, due to which Earth

entered the frozen.
MESOZOIC TO BIRTH OF HUMAN BEINGS

 Reptiles diversified into many varieties.

 Evolution occurred due to high radiation

magma.

 Crown evolution began.

 In plant world, angiosperms with advanced

reproductive capabilities appeared.
 THE BIRTH OF PRIMATES

 Primates the ancestors of humans

appeared.

 Primates evolved independentally on

each continent.

 Mass extinction of dinosaurs due to a

meteorite.

 All the life aspects on the Earth are

influenced by Universal scale event.
THE HUMANOZOIC EON
 Along the African rift valley, explosive
volcanic activities continued.

 Humans have unique set of genetic

regions called human accelerated
regions.

 The increase in brain volume is caused

due to stem evolution.
 HUMAN EVOLUTION

 Human evolution began 7 million years ago.

 20 early human species or hominins were

discovered.

 Classified into 3 main groups:

i) Early hominins.
ii) Australopithecines.
iii) Homo genus.
 Early Hominins:

 Lived 7 to 4.4 million years ago.

 They had many ape like traits.

 Some of them showed human

like traits
 Australopithecines:

 Next phase of Hominins

Evolution.

 They lived 4.4 to 1.4 million years

ago.
 Homo Genus:

 They lived 2 million years ago.

 They looked more like humans.

 Some of the homo species migrated out

of Africa.

 Homo sapiens evolved further into

human beings.
 REVOLUTIONS

 As human became more developed more

civilization came into existence.

 Many revolutions started:

I) Urban Revolution.
II) Religious Revolution.
III) Industrial Revolution.
IV) Informational Revolution.
 URBAN REVOLUTION:

 This revolution began 5,000 years

ago.

 People began to barter and trade.

 Food productivity grew higher.

 RELIGIOUS REVOLUTION:

 Revolution began 2,400 years ago.

 Conflicts began between civilization.

 National leaders came to be elected

by voters.
 INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION:

 Began in Great Britian; 300 years

ago.

 The invention of steam locomotive

and cars.

 Irreversible tragedies caused by

misapplication of science knowledge.
 INFORMATION REVOLUTION:

 This revolution followed the inventions of

computers.

 The invention of internet made easy for

people to communicate.

 It enabled human beings to explore

universe.
DARWIN'S THEORY OF EVOLUTION
 Evolution happens by natural selection.

 Variations occurs due to difference in their

genes.

 Individuals most suited to environment will

survive

 Individuals poorly adapted to environment

will be less likely to survive.
