Installing and Configuring window server

 First open browser and download Oracle Virtual


Machine and Window server
 Install virtual box and open it. Then click on New

 Write Window server in front of the Name
 Select Windows 2016 (64 bit) for Versions.
 Type of OS have to be Microsoft Windows.
 finally click on Expert Mode button

 for the ff Window type Window server 2016 for
oS Name
 Make a memory size 4096 MB then finally click

on Create Button as shown below

 For the ff Creating virtual Hard disk
 Make Hard disk file size 80 GB
 Do the others Accordingly as shown below

 Click on Setting, then Under General option go
to Advanced and change the Disabled to
Bidirectional as shown below and click on
OK.

 Again Click on Setting and go to Storage and
Under Storage click on Empty then click on the
Cd disk symbol on the right side and the click on
choose create a virtual optical box.

 After that click ADD if the ff window is displayed
and it takes you where you have stored Window
server so select it and then click on Choose
Button.
 Then click ok

 Then Tart the machine by clicking on Start

 After Machine start ups select Accordingly as
shown below and then click Next.

 Then Click I accept the licensee terms if the


Agreement window Appears and then click Next

 Select Custom installation type

Click Next for the ff window

 Wait until Window setup installation completes

 Then window restarts after 10 seconds

 Wait until the Window is on and click Switch
when the ff window appears

Then create password and Username for Machine


and then click Finish.

 After the ff login window appears click Input ->
Keyboard -> click on insert Ctrl-Alt-Del and
then Type your Password

 To change the name of your Virtual computer
click on Local server as shown below

 And then click on a computer name as shown
below.

 And then click on Change button for the ff

 So now give the Name for your computer and
click ok.

 Finally your computer asks to restart in order to


change some settings but click on Restart later
