MAIN ROLE:

• Network administrators are

LIST OF DUTIES:

• Network Installation and Configuration: Installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware (such

improvement. This involves analyzing network traffic, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing network
configurations to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnosing and resolving network issues, such as connectivity
problems, hardware failures, or configuration errors. Network administrators are responsible for
troubleshooting network problems promptly to minimize downtime and disruption to business operations.
• User Support and Training: Providing technical support to end-users regarding network-related issues.
This may involve assisting users with connecting to the network, troubleshooting connectivity problems,
and providing training on network usage and best practices.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining detailed documentation of network configurations,
procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Network administrators also generate reports on network
performance, security incidents, and other relevant metrics to management.
TYPICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR HIRE:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a
related field (although some employers may accept equivalent work
experience or certifications).
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies
(such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs).
• Experience with network hardware and software, including routers,
