● Planning is usually done at the start of any task


or venture.

● It is preparing for what is going to happen,


looking at all possible scenarios.

venture. When a firm has to do any move, especially

● This is where they design


the organizational
structure.

● It also highlights the


forming of the
company’s chain-of-

● Staffing is concerned with the hiring, selection,


and training of individuals.
○ Selection is the process of administering
examinations and conducting interviews of
applicants.
○ Hiring is where applicants are already given
job offers and asked for pre-employment
