    Profile of the organization :

    1. DRDO is the R&D wing of Ministry of Defence, Govt of India, with a vision to empower India
    with cutting-edge defence technologies.
    2. DRDO's mission is to achieve self-reliance in critical defence technologies and
    systems.
    3. Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADE) designs and develops state-of-
    the-art Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and aeronautical systems and
    technologies to meet the requirements of the Indian Armed forces.
    4. DRDO is India's largest and most diverse research organization with around 5,000
    scientists and 25,000 other subordinate scientific working in 52 laboratories.

    REFLECTIONS AND OUTCOMES :

    1. As a intern I have learned technical skills in wing structural design and


    design optimization during internship.
    2. CAD software such as SOLIDWORKS and CATIA V5 were used for structural
    designing.
    3. FEM software like HYPERMESH-HYPERBEAM and SOLIDWORKS were used for
    structural analysis.
    4. The internship helped the intern think distinctively to tackle real-world
    problems.
    5. DRDO is India's premier institute in defense technology development and
    working with the best scientists in the country has taught the me to work
    efficiently and be responsible for the work assigned.
