ABOUT ME
My name is Mara Segura and I am 13 years old.
I live in Torrelodones, Madrid, Spain.🇪🇸
I am finishing the first year of Dual Diploma Program.
WHY DUAL DIPLOMA?
I joined dual diploma because it will make my English a lot better, this
will allow me to communicate with people from different countries and
cultures and interact with each other, I will have the opportunity to
travel all around the world and understand the language.
Dual Diploma also helped me to achieve my personal goals, now, I
speak English more fluently and I have changed as person.
ORGANIZATION
Organization helps you to:
• Manage your workload, time and
priorities.
• Don’t procrastinate.
If you want to set a goal and you
organize your time and workload,
you will achieve a higher
success much better than if you
don’t organize.
ENTHUSIASM
FOR ENGLISH
It’s important because:
• It will make you do a better work, your
attitude counts a lot.
• It will let time fly and and feel that if
you do an activity by another one
you’ll not be bored.
If your enthusiasm for English and you
have the best attitude to learn you will
achieve a high level of English that will
let you travel around the world so that
you can communicate with people there
and interact with them.
UNDERSTANDING AND
APPRECIATION OF HOW ENGLISH
WILL BENEFIT OUR FUTURE

It’s important because:


• It will benefit us in our work
when we’re older.
• We will have the possibility to express
better, to talk freely, because the
work we are now doing will bear fruit.
This English program is an example of
how it will benefit our future, this, is
improving our way of reading, writing,
speaking and listening English, it’s
expanding our grammar and vocabulary,
they are preparing us for the future
coming.
OPENNESS TO FEEDBACK
AND MAKING CHANGES TO
IMPROVE
It’s important because:
• You listen to others that are giving you
advices, you let yourself be taught.
• You are listening to the tips others give you
so that you, step by step, learn and improve
more.
If you want to set a goal and you are open to
the feedback of others and you are also open
to make changes it means that you
are completely disposed to learn new things,
you also will achieve a higher success, than if
for example you only hear yourself and only
focus on your words.
CONFIDENCE TO
PARTICIPATE IN LIVE
SESSIONS
It is important because:
• It makes you feel part of the group, you
feel integrated, part of like a little
“community”.
• Enriches your vocabulary,
grammar, and you learn a lot more
because you are understanding what
you’re saying, even if you make
a mistake.
When you enter into a live session it’s
really important to participate because
this means you’re listening to the teacher
and your classmates.
ADVICE FOR NEW STUDENTS
My best tips for NEW STUDENTS.
• Effort the most you can, this will make you shine and your attitude will
count a lot.
• The first impression counts, participate the most you can.
• Chat the teacher if you have any question, everybody at the very first
time has question and problems.
• Take it seriously, this program will change your life, it will make you
improve your English a lot.
You will do excellent!!!
