Sequence
What is an arithmetic sequence?
- Is an order set of numbers that have a
common difference between each
consecutive term.
Example:
- If we add or subtract by the same number each
time to make the sequence, it is an arithmetic
sequence.
How to continue arithmetic sequence?
r3 = 27
r=3
-4 x 3 = -12
-12 x 3 = -36
-36 x 3 = -108
-108 x 3 = -324
Note:
Term -108 is already given
The missing terms are -12, -36, and -324.
Example 8: Find the missing numbers in the geometric
sequence including mixed numbers.
