Reflection 2: Evaluation of

PowerPoint Presentations

Student Name
Tailoring Behavioral
Interventions to
Individual Needs

 The FBA and BIP case study for student Banks demonstrates my ability

to use INTA SC Standard 1 - understanding how learners' cognitive,

linguistic, social, emotional, and physical development influences their

learning requirements.

 I saw Banks' challenging behaviors, such as whining for attention,

causing trouble during transitions, and refusing to work.

 Using various data gathering techniques, including teacher interviews,

ABC data, length logs, rating scales, and rating scales, I thoroughly

investigated the causes, effects, and behaviors to ascertain the most

likely purposes behind Banks' activity.

 The information indicated that, although sensory demands undoubtedly

played a part, his actions were motivated mainly by a need for adult

attention and a desire to avoid unpleasant chores.

Implementing
Developmentally
Appropriate Interventions

 I created developmentally relevant interventions for Banks' needs and

strengths when creating the BIP.

 Among preventive techniques are increasing individualized attention,

fostering teacher-student solid relationships, and attending to his demand for

intimacy during favorite activities.

 Teaching techniques used a sticker system to make him more conscious of

his actions and their results and give him chances to think during walks and

breaks.

 Throughout, I saw how various factors, including Banks's transitional

struggles, academic difficulties, sleep habits, and COVID-19 disturbances,

affected his behavioral development.

 The BIP sought to substitute more constructive methods, such as politely

inquiring and recognizing feelings, for his destructive acts of expressing

wants
Incorporating
Differentiated
Instruction

 My long-term objectives include broadening my toolkit of behavior

management techniques, working with school teams to provide
children with comprehensive assistance, and consistently creating
learning opportunities that consider each child's distinct
developmental profile.

 This case study demonstrates my dedication to considering how each

learner's growth affects their learning while making instructional
decisions.
