A reminder of what your uniform must have:

Blazers
From September you must wear
blazer at all times around the school,
including in corridors, canteen and
arriving/leaving school. Your blazer
should not be in your bag or in your
hand, it must be worn on you.

If it is hot, we will tell you when you


don't have to wear it.
Trousers

We wear our trousers on


our hips, you should not be
able to see joggers/shorts
underneath at any time.
Skirts
Skirts must be an appropriate length is
defined as no shorter than the length of
the end of fingertips when arms are held
down straight beside the body. Skirts
must not be shortened or rolled up; the
school crest should be visible at the
bottom of your skirt . If you wear a skirt,
please check that your skirt matches the
above rule – if it does not you
will need to purchase a new skirt or
trousers.
Shoes
We only wear black, leather school shoes, trainers are
not acceptable. Trainers, canvas or fabric shoes, boots,
boot style shoes are not part of school uniform and
must not be worn. Sports branded footwear
(shoe/trainers) are not permitted. This includes shoe/
trainers that have logos or stripes in the same material
and colour as the shoe/trainer.
Shirts and Ties
When we are wearing our winter
shirt, we wear our ties with 5
stripes done up to our
collar. Shirts must be tucked in at
all times.
Jumper
Having a school jumper is optional.
Hoodies/ non-school jumpers/ zip-up
tops/ tracksuit tops/ sweatshirts/
denim jackets are not permitted and
will be confiscated.
Socks
Socks must not have
logos, ribbons, lace, or
any embellishment and
must not be over the
knee. Ankle socks must
not be worn over tights
or knee-length socks.
You are not permitted to:
• have fake nails or nail varnish
• wear fake eyelashes or eyelash extensions
• wear hooped earrings
• wear heavy make up
• have visible necklaces
• wear bracelets unless they are for religious reasons
• have facial piercings
We are making this clear to you now so that you have
6 weeks to ensure that you have the correct uniform and so
that everyone has really clear understanding of what the
expectations will be in September.
