What is Scrum
Scrum is a framework that helps teams and organizations generate
value through adaptive solutions for complex problems.

Roles and Responsibilities

Product Owner: The PO is Essential to an Agile team. They are the Domain
Experts; they know the customers and how they use our products.

Scrum Ceremonies
Sprint Planning: During this event, the team agrees on user stories to be work
on during that sprint and discuss plans to complete those stories.
Product Owner describes stories in the backlog based on their priority level.
The team will ask questions to understand how to break high-level stories
into detailed User Stories.
The team will size the User Stories, assigning points to each story. The
delivery team will agree on stories to commit to, then move those committed

Results from a Sprint Planning:
Sprint Goal: A summary of the User Stories committed to by the
team.
Sprint Backlog: The set of stories from the product backlog that the
teams dedicate to completing in the Sprint.
Scrum Ceremonies
Daily Standup/Daily Scrum: This event is a daily 15 mins Time-Boxed
event. The Agile teams will give progress updates based on three
questions;
What did I work on yesterday?
What do I plan to work on today?
What are my impediments?
Scrum Ceremonies
Backlog Refinement: In this meeting, Agile product teams reviews and
revises the product backlog. The goal is to focus on preparing items in
the product backlog for future a future sprint.
Product Owner describes stories in the backlog based on their
priority level.
Details of the User Stories are discussed to ensure the delivery team
members have enough information to product deliverables.
In some cases, User Stories presented by the PR are estimated during
this event.
Scrum Ceremonies
Sprint Review: During this event, the team will demonstrate newly-
developed features to the stakeholders from the user's perspective and
give a technical review of the Sprint went.
Products accomplished from the sprint are reviewed against the sprint’s
stated goals.
Team engages in comprehensive discussion on the features
Stakeholders provide feedbacks
Feedbacks are integrated into the product backlog for upcoming
changes
Scrum Ceremonies
Retrospective: This meeting occurs immediately after the Sprint Review
ceremony. During this time, the team will inspect and adapt, there by
collectively reflect on the completed sprint, and identifying
opportunities for improvement in future sprints.
Inspect how the last sprint went with regards to people,
relationships, process and tools.
