WHAT IS A SMART CLASSROOM?

Smart classroom is advanced


technology implementation for
schools and colleges, which
provide tools and other contents
for the student’s learning using
latest media presentations .
These classrooms are also called
digital classrooms.

 3d and 2d multi-media modules

COMPONENTS OF SMART
CLASSROOM
 Podium :
A small platform on which a person may stand
to be seen by an audience, when making a speech. A
digital teacher console may contain :-
i. All-in-one Desktop
ii. Document Camera
iii. Button Panel
iv. Touch Screen display
v. Gooseneck Microphone
 Display Devices :
If you display something that you want people to see, you
put it in a particular place, so that people can see it easily. Following are the
display devices used in smart classroom.

Projector :
A projector can take images generated by a computer and
reproduce them by projection onto the screen, wall or another surface. A
projector is used to show a presentation on a large screen so that everyone
in the room can see it.

Projection Screen :
A projection Screen consisting of a surface and a support
structure used for displaying a project image for the view of an audience.
Widely white screens are used to avoid any discoloration to the image.
Other display screens are as follows :
 Equipment Rack :
A single rack can contain multiple servers
stacked one above the other, consolidating network
resources and minimizing the required floor space. The
rack server configuration also simplifies cabling among
network components. A smart classroom’s equipment
rack may contain :-
- 4k Video & Audio Switching System.

- 4k handheld Wireless Microphones.


- Audio Amplifier with 3 Speaker pair.
- Video Conferencing System with dual
Camera.
 Online Uninterruptible Power
Supply (UPS) :

UPS is an electrical apparatus that provides


emergency power to load when the input
power source or main power fails. UPS is
typically used to protect hardware such as
computers, data centers,
telecommunication equipment.
