Automatic water leakage detection system

ABSTRACT
 AWLD is a cutting-edge technology designed to detect water leaks
automatically and in real-time, enabling prompt action to prevent waste and
damage.
 The system utilizes a combination of sensors, including flow meters, pressure
sensors, and acoustic sensors, to monitor the water distribution network
continuously.
 Advanced signal processing techniques and machine learning algorithms are
employed to analyze sensor data in real-time.
 The proposed system demonstrates high sensitivity and specificity,
significantly reducing response times and minimizing water loss. Field tests in
various environments validate the system's robustness and effectiveness.
PROBLEM STATEMENT

 Automatic water leakage detection system detect water leaks in real-time, accurately
locate the leak source, and alert maintenance teams to minimize water waste and
prevent damage to infrastructure, thereby reducing operational costs and improving
overall efficiency in water distribution networks.".
METHODOLOGY

This approach enables real-time detection, rapid response, and effective

management of water leaks, reducing waste and improving infrastructure
reliability..
 Sensor Installation: Install advanced sensors (e.g., acoustic, pressure, flow)
 Data Analysis: Machine learning algorithms analyze the data to identify
patterns
 Continuous Monitoring: The system continuously monitors the network,
 Data Insights: The system provides data-driven insights for predictive
maintenance
 Verification: Operator verify the leak through centralized control or
additional sensors.
AIMS OBJECTIVES

 Reduce water loss and Detect leaks early to minimize water waste
and conserve this valuable resource.
 Support sustainability to Contribute the water conservation efforts,
reduce waste, and promote environmentally responsible practices.
 Improve customer satisfaction to Provide a reliable water supply,
reduce service disruptions, and enhance overall customer experience.
 Enhance the efficiency to Automate leak detection to reduce manual
inspections, optimize maintenance schedules, and streamline repair
processes.
OBJECTIVES

 Early Detection: Identify water leaks promptly to prevent significant

water loss and minimize damage
 Accuracy: Achieve high precision in detecting and localizing leaks to
ensure effective repair and maintenance.
 Real-Time Monitoring: Provide continuous surveillance of the water
distribution network to detect leaks as they occur.
 Integration: Ensure compatibility with existing water management
infrastructure and systems
 Resource Conservation: Contribute to water conservation efforts
by minimizing wastage through prompt leak detection.
