OMCAutoStar
Function description
When exceptions occur in the running of M2000 services or you want to regularly check the running status of the M2000, you can run the OMCAutoStar to collect information for reference.
Immediate check and timing check are supported. Check reports can be downloaded.
Precautions
The progress of an immediate check can be displayed in Routine Check. When Collect OS explore is selected, it takes a long time to collect information.

Data Clearance
Function description
Before the M2000 upgrade or on a specified site, you need to pay attention to the usage of disk space and database space. With the data clearance tool, you can clear junk files on the disk and in the database to ensure the normal and stable running of the M2000.
Clearing files: The M2000 searches the files in a specified directory and displays the files in a list. You can then select specified files to delete them. Cleaning up the database: The M2000 searches redundant and junk data in the database. You can then select the database for the M2000 to clean up.
Precautions
You can clear files and cleaning up the database as user omcuser. Read the impact on the M2000 carefully before you clear files or cleaning up the database. At present, only databases omcdb can be cleaned up.

TraceCollection
Function description
When faults occur in the running of the M2000 and R&D engineers are asked to locate the faults, maintenance engineers can collect and download fault location information in specified scenarios on the Web GUI, and then send the information for R&D engineers to locate the faults.
The supported scenarios for fault data collection are the same as the scenarios required for the TraceCollection tool. Collected information can be downloaded.

Component Management
Function description
This function allows you to shield unused functions to reduce the consuming of system resources and ensure that the functions in use are not interfered by the faults occurring on other functions. M2000 components can be managed by WRAN, GBSS, CBSS, LTE, and core network. Browsing the status of M2000 components is supported.
Precautions
Ensure that the M2000 is installed. It takes a long time to start or stop M2000 components. Therefore, when you view the status of M2000 components immediately after performing the start or stop operations, the status may be Starting or Stopping.

Providing the packet capture function for locating alarm loss problems
The packet capture function is implemented by running the commands of the Solaris operating system The IP address of the NMS that receives alarms and the packet capture duration (generally about five minutes) are required. A link for downloading the packet capture file is provided after the packet capture is complete.

The OSMU enables you to invoke the findMo function of the CORBA interface through a GUI. It provides default parameter values and options. In addition, it saves result files as .xml files and provides a link for downloading the files.
Parameter description: Basic Object: Name of the start MO to be queried in the whole object tree. Scope Type: Query scope, containing BASE_ALL (querying the whole object tree), BASE_ONLY (querying the current object only), BASE_NTH_LEVEL (querying the object at level N), and BASE_SUBTREE (querying a subtree). Level: Querying the object set at level N. This parameter is available only when Scope Type is set to BASE_NTH_LEVEL. Filter Type: Filtering conditions set for querying objects. Result Contents: If NAMES is selected, it indicates that only MO names are contained in the query result. If NAMES_AND_ATTRIBUTES is selected, it indicates that both MO names and attributes are contained in the query result. Request Attributes: Attribute set to be queried. Iterate Step: Number of MOs to be obtained at a time. Note: For more information about northbound CORBA interface, see the M2000 Northbound CORBA Interface Developer Guide.pdf. To perform a common query, use the default parameters and then click Submit.
