PRAYER
In the name of the Father, and of the Son,
and of the Holy Spirit. Amen

Glorious Saint Joseph, you are the pattern

of all who work. Obtain for me, please,
the grace to work conscientiously and to
put devotion to duty before my selfish
inclinations.
PRAYER
Help me to labor in thankfulness and Joy,
for it is an honor to employ and to
develop by my labor the gifts I have
receive from almighty God. Grant that I
may work in orderliness, peace,
moderation and patience without
shrinking from weariness and difficulties.
I offer my fatigue and perplexities as
reparation for sin.
PRAYER
I shall work, above all, with a pure
intention and with detachment from self,
having always before my eyes the hour
of death and the accounting which I must
then render of time ill-spent, of talents
unemployed, of good undone, and of
empty pride in success, which is so fatal
to the work of God.
PRAYER

For Jesus through Mary, all in imitation of

you, good Saint Joseph. This shall be my
motto in life and in death. Amen.
On November 8, 2013, Super-Typhoon
Yolanda, one of the strongest typhoons to
make landfall ever, had caused
unimaginable destruction and devastation
in some parts of the country, especially the
Province of Capiz. As part of the long term
RECOVERY STRATEGY for its people, the
Archdiocese of Capiz initiated the setting up
of St. Joseph Vocational-Technical Training
and Assessment Center Inc. (SJVTTAC).
This institution is a monument to the great
generosity of the people of Italy
represented by Caritas Italiana, the social
arm of the Italian Episcopal Conference and
Comitato 8X mille, that came to help the
people of Capiz, especially the poor, in
order to recover from the havoc wrought by
Super-Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan),
SJVTTAC has been established to provide
technical-vocational courses aimed to
provide skills development, assist the
province’s human resources and cater to
the deeply marginalized, the poorest of the
poor and out-of-school youth.
In 2021, despite the global crisis brought
about by Covid-19 pandemic, the
Department of Education has granted the
opening of Senior High School Program for
incoming Grade 11 students.
This simply marks the ever expanding
opportunity that SJVTTAC is willing to
provide to our brothers and sisters who are
most in need of assistance and
empowerment in order to live with more
dignity as God’s beloved children.
