    My favorite iconic character is James Francis Cameron is a


    Canadian film director,
    screenwriter, producer
    and marine explorer,
    in his adolescence he
    moved to the United
    States where he
    performed several
    trades as a mechanic
    and truck driver.
    James Cameron
    greatly admired film director Stanley Kubrick who was his
    inspiration to venture into making short films

    In a self-taught way he began to specialize in special effects, which eventually
    allowed him to enter the film industry. eventually allowed him to enter the film
    industry, premiered by the great director and film producer Geoge Lucas.
    He decided that his life would be
    focused entirely on cinema
    In his first film he worked as a supervisor of special effects in the Piranhas film 2,
    where he gave big postage for his production but after a few months he was fired
    for misunderstandings with the production

    James Cameron was recognized as a great writer and


    screenwriter working the scripts for the films Rambo
    First Blood and Alines , while writing a draft that
    would be Terminator.
    While he was in Rome working for a commercial , that night he fell ill with a fever
    , he began to dream that a machine of the future would end humanity, as soon as
    he woke up, he wrote what would be one of his greatest successes in cinema.
    Terminator

    In 1984 it was James Cameron’s directorial debut in the film


    Terminator and the recognition as actor Arnold Schwarzenegger,
    the film at the box office was not so successful but over time
    began to be recognized by the public which gave way to create
    the sequel.
    In 1986 he directed the sequel Alien in eighth passenger with a budget of 18.5
    million dollars and recounting 183.3 million dollars being one of the highest
    grossing films of that year

    In 1991 he returned with a new sequel to Terminator titled Judgment Day, again
    with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton, becoming one of the highest-
    grossing films of the year.
    During the filming of Terminator 2 Arnold Scharzenegger suggested to James
    Cameron to make a remake of the French film LA TOTALE "Two Spies in My Bed"
    where a parody of James Bond would be made full of action and comedy, it was
    one of the highest grossing films in 1994
    In 1997, James Cameron, after going through many budget difficulties, managed to
    release the film that would lead him to

    obtain maximum recognition worldwide and that was


    Titanic, an impossible love story that was cut short
    by the sinking of the Titanic. It was the highest-
    grossing film in history, winning 11 Oscars including
    best director and surpassing the 1959 production Ben
    Hur in awards.
    Twelve years after Titanic, James Camero already had in mind to make a
    production full of fantasy and very good special effects, of course it is Avatar, but
    with the Technology of the 90s it was impossible to recreate what he wanted to
    show the world in 3D. James Cameron intended to start filming after finishing
    Titanic but decided to wait for
    Avatar the path of water arrives in 2022, like the previous film it also swept the
    box office demonstrating the futuristic talent of a great director like James
    Cameron, that is why he is my iconic character and I wanted to talk a little about
    this excellent artist
