ABSTRACT
• Diabetes is a complex, chronic illness that impairs the body to process blood glucose. It requires continuous
medical care and attention. It is growing continuously increasing and rapidly, if we observe, in 2021
approximately 463 million people effected, due to rate of increasing of diabetic patients that is estimated,
that may affect 700 million people by 2045.

• if diabetics unrecognized over the time in a person it will damage the heart, blood vessels, eyes, brain etc on
each part of the human organs. It has intensified and deadly effects.

• Early detection of diabetics is very important for timely treatment which stops the disease progressing to
such complications and ward off the fatal effects. Experiments are performed on Pima Indians Diabetes
(PIDD) dataset calculating accuracy score using machine learning algorithm Logistic
regression,SVM ,RandomForest.

• Based on best accuracy of an algorithm can be used for the prognosis of diabetes
LITERATURE SURVEY

• K.VijiyaKumar et al. proposed random Forest algorithm for the Prediction of diabetes develop a system which can
perform early prediction of diabetes for a patient with a higher accuracy by using Random Forest algorithm in machine
learning technique

• Muhammad Azeem Sarwar et al. proposed study on prediction of diabetes using machine learning algorithms in
healthcare they applied six different machine learning algorithms Performance and accuracy of the applied algorithms is
discussed and compared.

• N. Joshi et al. presented Diabetes Prediction Using Machine Learning Techniques aims to predict diabetes via three
different supervised machine learning methods including: SVM, Logistic regression, ANN
MOTIVATION
Purpose:
Existing Problems
• To Develop a predictive system
• to classify patients
Still no effective solution

• Time consuming clinical • To Contribute in Medical sector

analysis
• Reduce the cost of overall
• High cost clinical analysis

• Diagnosis patient in early

stages

• Reduce mortality rate

• To employ our proposed model

which will produce better
performances than the existing ones
PROBLEM STATEMENT
OBJECTIVE

 The goal of this project is to determine if a patient is diagnosed with diabetes disease or not.

 It gives a binary outcome, so: Positive result=1, the patient will be diagnosed with diabetes
disease or else not.
