Current problem
Some of the not proven systems are
developed ,to detect the FH signals with a
reasonable success rate.
Today development of low cost Frequency
Hopping wireless modules is easy but
effective interception algorithms are not up
to mark.
Proposed Solution
New methods based on image processing
are used for FH signal interception.
Methods are proposed to extract the
parameters of frequency hopping (FH)
signals based on the spectrogram obtained
by short-time Fourier transform (STFT).
Project Goal
To extract the parameters of frequency
hopping (FH) signals based on the
spectrogram obtained by Short-time
Fourier transform (STFT).
The spectrogram analysis will be used to
detect and extract FH parameters by
useful image processing techniques.

FHSS Concepts
Frequency-hopping spread spectrum is a
form of spread spectrum in which the signal
is broadcast over a random series of radio
frequencies, hopping from frequency to
frequency at fixed intervals.
It has become the leading communication
technology because of the superior anti-
jamming and anti-interception capability.
