Introduction
• People with visual impairment face various problems in their daily life

• As the modern assistive devices are often not meeting the consumer requirements in term of price
. Level of assistance is not as good as what was expected.

• Financial Assistance for Blind from government is not enough pay for modern equipped smart
glasses .

• So, our purpose is to produce Budget friendly Artificial aid for Visually impaired people.

• This project presents a new design of assistive smart glasses for visually impaired persons. The
objective is to assist in multiple daily tasks using advantage of variable design format.

• The aim of project of blind assistance is promoting a wide challenge in computer vision such as
recognition of persons, surroundings practiced by the blind on a daily basis.
Literature survey
Abstract
Developing a tool for the visually impaired people is not a recently emerged problem. But developing a computer aided tool is a
still developing area. Our aim is to create an intelligent system, imitating the human eye, which transfers different scenes
and images to the device, which in turn analyses the images or scenes, and based on previously stored information, the
surrounding objects are identified. The Existing system Low cost ultra Sonic smart glasses is budget friendly and has
features like ultra sonic sensors with wearable glasses for detection of obstacles , a buzzer to give sound along with CPU
comprising of Arduino NANO System.

On an Extending Contray, Proposed model has advanced Visual enhancement apprehended by Facial Recognition
Technology with a trained dataset of people we can add making a familiar sound as symbol for recognizing them, can make
it much easier for blind . Two cameras on wearable glasses for deep vision of surroundings . Along with an Ultrasonic
sensor for distance ranging , object detection .We can substitute Buzzer with Earphones for Guiding sound per
convenience or Vibrator to Sense Danger and Give Sound outside as well . We can use MATLAB or python 3 for coding
this system , Raspberry Pi acts as an embedded CPU board for Main Processing module operations of depth image
processing data fusion .
Existing model
Blind assistance is promoting a wide challenge in computer vision such as navigation, path findings . In this paper
two cameras placed on blind persons glasses . Gps free service and ultra sonic sensor are employed to provide the
necessary information about the surrounding environment. A Dataset of objects gathered from daily scenes.

We use Arduino Nano which takes the information from the sensor about the obstacle distance and processes the
information according to the coding done and sense the output through the buzzer. Power Supply is given to the
central unit which distributes the power to different components .The sensor is mounted between of the top bar
and bridge presenting obstacle classes.

All the components are connected to the central unit using single strand copper wires and the power is given to the
central unit using a USB pin. The ultrasonic sensor is fixed at a perpendicular from the glasses.

The specifications mentioned in the claim are very cheap resulting in a very cheap device affordable by all.
Proposed Model
The Proposed System includes a depth camera for acquiring depth information of the
surroundings so we take two cameras attached on the wearable glasses. We take ultra
sonic rangefinder consisting of an ultra sonic sensor with an embedded CPU board acting
as main processing module which does such operations as depth image processing, data
fusion.

AR rendering guiding sound synthesis, etc.. a pair of AR glasses to display the visual
enhancement information and an earphone to play the guiding sound . We can attach small
vibrator to pitch sound outside with obstacles estimation within proximities. This
application can automatically detect ,analyse and recognize all kinds of public signs
around the blindness and visually impaired and give corresponding voice hints through
wireless bone conduction headphone.
