    define as the study of art from across


    the world, and from the ancient to the
    present day.
    Art Historiography

    historical study of the visual arts, being


    concerned with identifying, classifying,
    describing, evaluating, interpreting and
    understanding the art products and historic
    development of the fields of painting,sculpture,
    architecture,the decorative arts, drawing and
    etc.
    Cave paintings
    • are also known as “ parietal art ”.They are painted drawings
    on cave walls or ceilings, mainly of prehistoric dated to some
    40,000 years ago in Eurasia.
    • they provide valuable insights into pre historic cultures and
    their beliefs, often depicting animals,humans and symbols.

    thousands of years.
