    Symptom : Parking brake abnormal
    Parking brake caution lamp stay on when parking brake switch OFF

    Possibilities causes:
    1. Parking brake switch 6. Oil level
    2. Parking brake relay 7. Brake pump
    3. Fuse (BT 3 NO 8) 8. ACC valve
    4. Pressure switch 9. Solenoid P brake
    5. Wiring 10. P brake valve
    Possible Cause

    • Defective parking brake switch.


    • Disconnection in wiring harness .
    Electrical • Defective parking brake relay.

    • Defective solenoid parking brake.

    Analysis data:
    Kesimpulan dari data di atas adalah terjadi kerusakan pada pressure switch
    parking brake (jamed open), karena resistance pressure switch tetap tidak
    terbaca ketika parking brake direlease.

    Suspected Cause :
    Pressure Switch Parking Brake P/N 421-43-32912 (Jamed Open)

    Conclusion
    Kesimpulan
    Parking brake abnormal ( caution lamp tetap menyala ketika switch parkin brake OFF),
    disebabkan oleh rusaknya parking brake pressure switch (jamed open). Akibatnya, power
    24 volt dari fuse BT3 NO 8 yang berfungsi sebagai trigger tidak sampai ke relay R03
    ketika parking brake release; sehingga switch pada R03 tetap ON dan kontroller retarder
    tetap membaca parking brake aktif.
