I N T RO D U C T I O N
Technological advancements have
revolutionized various aspects of our
lives, making everyday activities
more convenient and efficient.
The restaurant industry is no
exception.
I N T RO D U C T I O N
With the increasing demand for quick and
hassle-free dining experiences, the need for
an advanced restaurant reservation system
has become evident.

Traditional methods of booking tables and

ordering food often result in long waiting
times and inefficiencies, which can
negatively impact customer satisfaction.
I N T RO D U C T I O N
The proposed web-based restaurant
reservation system aims to address
these challenges by providing a
comprehensive platform where
customers can easily book tables,
pre-order food, and check the
availability of restaurants in real-
time.

for users.
Literature Review - “Do Your Order” Application (Existing)

Advantages:
• Allows selection of the currency for restaurant transactions.
• Provides options for adding meals.
• Includes functionality to add restaurant opening and closing
times.
• Allows entry of the tax card number.
• Supports team management and sales tracking.
• Offers the creation of QR codes for restaurants.

Disadvantages:
• Customers interact with the restaurant's QR code rather than
directly with the application.
• Charges a fee of 10 euros, 10% VAT, and an additional 1 EURO
VAT on a 10 EURO purchase.
• Tracks orders and profits, deducting fees from the restaurant's
earnings.
• Booking tables on the site is not possible.

Most restaurants do not

offer an advanced system
for table reservations,
making it difficult for
customers to know if a
table is available before
arriving.

for Food
Customers often face
long waiting times for
food, which can be
disruptive, especially
for those with limited
time.
Re s t a u r a n t
Ava i l a b i l i t y
It is challenging for
customers to determine
if a restaurant is
fully booked without
physically going there,
leading to wasted time
and effort.
