You can open from the Recent menu, from OneDrive, from your PC, or Browse;
if you use a document frequently you can pin this to the Recent menu

To save a document, click on the save icon, the backstage menu opens, choose
the option for you, once saved you can then save directly from the work area

Use the 'Save As' option to save a copy of the document in another area on your PC or network

Default saving options – if you want to save documents to your PC and the
default setting is OneDrive, you can change this in the Backstage Menu

TIP

Remember to click
'OK' or 'Apply' to
close the dialogue

once.

You can click and drag up


and down to select as many
lines as you want

You can use the menu to


select all text in the
document and you can use
the short cut CTRL + A

Use the mouse to select


text and then choose the
Cut option from the menu

Move the cursor to the area

text.

The Paste menu has several
