Introduction:

Online Food Ordering System is a Website designed primarily for use in the food delivery industry. This
system will allows hotels and restaurants to increase scope of business by reducing the labor cost involved.
Online food ordering is a process of food delivery or takeout from a local restaurants or food cooperative
through a webpage.
This system also allows to quickly and easily manage an online menu which customer can browse and use
to place order with just few clicks.

Motivation:
The motivation behind this project was Simplicity and Convinience: because of
convienience or laziness, people would rather order food online than go to a
restaurant. To place an order,just select your preferred dish by scrolling through the
website.
Proving user with an interactive and clear interface.
Helping Customers to place order easily.
Developing an website which will provide good user interface.
Modules: Admin And User.
Objective:
An online food ordering system or an online ordering platform is a
place where customers can directly order from the restaurants instead of
going a third party food delivery business.
The main objective of the project is to manage the details of food items,
category, customer, order, confirm order. It manages all the information
about food items, payment, confirm order.
Hardware requirements:
Processor: Intel Core i3 or more.
Processor Speed: 1.5 GHz.
RAM: 8 GB.
Hard Disk: 15 -20 GB of free space
Software requirements:
Operating System: Window 7 and higher.
Tools: Xampp, Wamp, Lamp server(any) ,Chrome
Technology: , Html5, CSS, Bootstrap , Jquery.
Database: SQL.
Software Testing:
• Software testing is an essential part of the project development lifecycle. The
purpose of software testing in the project is to ensure that the feedback
management system is functioning as expected, is reliable, and meets the user
requirements.
• White Box Testing: This means that the tester has access to the source code
and understands how the code is implemented.
• Black Box Testing: Black box testing on the other hand, is a type of testing
where the tester has no knowledge of the internal workings of the system being
tested.

Later we can add Location Map for users in this Website.
Developing a mobile application version and adding additional features and
services to order the food-stracking the location for better services.
Conclusion:
The online food ordering system will be helpful for the hotels and restaurants to increase the
scope of the business by helping users to give order through online.
With online ordering on board we will enrich our customer experience by making the process
of ‘placing orders, a lot easier.
Overall we have created a website in focus of future food ordering system , This website will
helpful to many people.
